Seirin J-Type acupuncture needles are premium Japanese-manufactured, sterile, single-use acupuncture needles supplied individually with a guide tube. Popular with professional acupuncturists and dry needling practitioners, the Seirin J-Type range combines a fine stainless-steel shaft, polished tip and lightweight colour-coded plastic handle for comfortable, controlled handling.
Manufactured from surgical-grade stainless steel, each needle features an ultra-thin, flexible shaft with a finely polished, silicone-coated tip designed to support smooth and precise insertion. The needle shaft is centred within the handle to assist accuracy and control during treatment.
The lightweight 2.0 × 20mm polypropylene plastic handle provides a comfortable grip and is colour-coded according to needle diameter, allowing practitioners to quickly identify different sizes.
Seirin's Light Touch Insertion™ system enables the needle to be released easily from its guide tube with gentle pressure. Each needle is individually blister packed with its own rounded-end PVC-free polypropylene guide tube, helping with accurate positioning and maintaining sterility until use.
The Seirin J-Type range is available in 21 needle sizes, with diameters from 0.10mm to 0.30mm and lengths from 15mm to 60mm, providing options for a wide variety of professional acupuncture and dry needling techniques.

Seirin J-Type Sakura Packaging
Seirin J-Type needles feature the updated Sakura packaging, inspired by the Japanese cherry blossom.
The blister pack has been extended by 5mm, making it easier to open and allowing more selective removal of needles. An enhanced blister seal helps maintain the sterile barrier until the needle is required.
The individual blister format keeps each needle and guide tube separately packaged until use.
