The electrical stimulation makes it possible to reinforce the action of the needles. In some cases, it can replace long manipulations and even replace needles for children and fearful people.
DESCRIPTION
The AGISTIM duo is a 4-channel electric stimulator in practice with numerous adjustment possibilities for the frequency of the impulses as well as for the mode of emission or the intensity. - Pulse frequency: Free frequency adjustable from 1 to 99 Hz or selection of stored Nogier frequencies. - Transmission mode: choice of 8 different modes: rest time, frequency sweep, transmission alternation on the channels. - Intensity: the intensity is adjusted continuously, independently on each channel.
The term DUO means that the AGISTIM duo is equivalent to 2 stimulators in 1 single device. The 4 outputs work 2 by 2, offering different setting possibilities. A timer automatically stops the treatment. The AGISTIM duo can be connected to the mains thanks to a remote electrically insulated double power supply unit.
DIRECTIONS
- In electroacupuncture: faster treatment than needles used alone or/and treatment with electrodes.
- In neurostimulation: stimulation of nerve fibers with electrodes.
- In analgesia: release of endorphins according to the chosen frequencies.
- In electrolipolysis: effective reduction of localized lipodystrophies with appropriate needles.
PRECAUTIONS, CONTRAINDICATIONS
Conditions not requiring acupuncture treatment.
Always disinfect the skin before placing the needles. Use only sterile single-use needles. Place the electrodes on healthy skin.
Take precautions when treating pregnant women and patients with haemophilia or on anticoagulants.
Do not use in patients with an implanted electronic device (pacemaker).
USE
1 - place the needle or electrode connectors on the outputs of the AGISTIM duo
2 - connect needles or electrodes
3 - turn on the stimulator timer and set the treatment time (1 to 60 minutes)
4 - choose the stimulation mode among the 8 offered
5 - adjust the frequency per pair of channels: from 1 Hz to 99 Hz or the 7 Nogier Frequencies
6 - the treatment starts when the intensity is adjusted on each of the channels.
The AGISTIM duo offers optimal security. The processing parameters are permanently visible on the display screen. An integrated autonomous safety system stops the device if the frequency or the intensity of the currents exceed the maximum values.
